經(jīng)教育部批準(zhǔn)，東北財經(jīng)大學(xué)薩里國際學(xué)院于2007年正式成立。學(xué)院坐落在東北財經(jīng)大學(xué)主校區(qū)內(nèi)，由東北財經(jīng)大學(xué)與 薩里大學(xué)共同建設(shè)，具備東北財經(jīng)大學(xué)以及薩里大學(xué)的學(xué)士及碩士學(xué)位授予資格。學(xué)院目前共開設(shè)工商管理（跨國公司管理方向）、旅游管理（休閑與服務(wù)管理方 向）2個本科專業(yè)（方向），及企業(yè)管理（跨國公司管理方向）、旅游管理（休閑與服務(wù)管理方向）2個碩士研究生專業(yè)（方向）。截止2012年9月，學(xué)院共有 在校生1800余人。
經(jīng)過不斷的探索和調(diào)整，薩里國際學(xué)院結(jié)合我國中長期教育發(fā)展規(guī)劃綱要和東北財經(jīng)大學(xué)“十二五發(fā)展規(guī)劃”，以及學(xué)院發(fā)展實際，終確定了薩里國際學(xué)院發(fā)展的 整體思路和辦學(xué)使命。即：以“人文精神與專業(yè)素養(yǎng)并重，培養(yǎng)具有**視野和國際競爭力的管理人才，為企業(yè)管理實踐提供智力支持”。為了實現(xiàn)這一辦學(xué)使命， 學(xué)院在師資隊伍建設(shè)、教學(xué)、科研、學(xué)生管理、 行政支持等方面，做了大膽的嘗試和努力。
薩里國際學(xué)院始終重視師資隊伍建設(shè)，努力打造一支以外籍教師與海外歸國人才為主體的，教學(xué)與科研能力強的國際化、高水平師資隊伍。截止到2013年3月， 學(xué)院共有全職中外籍教師62人，其中薩里大學(xué)長期派駐全職教師7人。從教師國籍看，外籍教師45人，中籍教師17人，且全部具有海外留學(xué)背景。學(xué)院專業(yè)教 師中具有博士學(xué)位教師占專業(yè)教師總?cè)藬?shù)的86%，教授5人，副教授5人。多數(shù)教師畢業(yè)于劍橋大學(xué)、倫敦大學(xué)、倫敦政治經(jīng)濟學(xué)院、曼徹斯特大學(xué)、加州大學(xué)伯 克利分校等國際知名大學(xué)。

Surrey International Institute (SII) is a Joint Sino-Foreign Cooperative School set up by Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) and the University of Surrey (UoS) in the UK. SII was approved in 2007 by the Ministry of Education and currently has over 1700 students enrolled in business and tourism management programmes The newly revised and expanded intensive English language curriculum is scheduled across the initial two years, though continued support is provided in the latter years. Key targets include preparing students to effectively study in an English learning environment at university level and to pass the IELTS tests for entry into the UoS programmes.
Recruitment Intakes
Spring Semester 2014
There are limited positions available for qualified applicants who are interested in teaching starting from late February 2014. These opportunities may be best suited to applicants who are already working in China and have the relevant working class visas in place. Applicants from outside China are welcome to apply, though their ability to respond quickly to all stages of the recruitment process would be essential to ensure they can arrive on time for the beginning of the semester. Applications for these positions would be assessed immediately and continuously until the positions are filled.
Autumn Semester 2014
It is anticipated that there will be several positions available to qualified candidates interested in teaching from August 2014 onwards. Applications will be accepted and reviewed at the end of each calendar month and selection procedures undertaken until all positions are filled.
Candidates that are located outside of China should submit applications as soon as possible as the procedures to come to China and settle into accommodation require long lead in times.
