上海東方明珠（集團）股份有限公司下屬上海東方明珠國際交流有限公司，攜手美國AEG和NBA中國，合資組建的――東方明珠安舒茨文化體育發(fā)展（上海）有限公司。
AEG-OPG Culture and Sports (Shanghai) Company Limited is a joint venture of Shanghai Oriental Pearl International Communications Company Limited (a 100% subsidiary company under Shanghai Oriental Pearl (Group) Company Limited) and NAAV (a joint venture of AEG and NBA China).

梅賽德斯奔馳文化中心建筑面積16萬平方米，是一個集綜合演藝、藝術(shù)展示、時尚娛樂于一體的綜合性文化娛樂聚集區(qū)。它擁有一個可以容納18000座、多功能的大型演藝場館，具有上海首個滿足NBA賽事要求的標準場地、首個滿足國際冰上賽事及冰上表演的標準場地，同時設(shè)有音樂俱樂部、電影院、溜冰場、景觀餐廳，以及近2萬平方米的商業(yè)零售、文化休閑娛樂區(qū)。
It has a floor area of 160,000 m2, and will become a comprehensive entertainment and culture center with all kinds of events presented in it, including international live performances, sports and art shows. With a capacity of 18,000 seats, it is also the first multi-functional arena in Shanghai that has a standard court qualified for NBA games, international ice hockey games and ice shows. In addition, SWEPAC has a music club, a six-screen cinema, a public ice skating rink, several restaurants with splendid views and nearly 20,000 m2 retail and entertainment spaces.

通過東方明珠與AEG/NBA的合作，梅賽德斯奔馳文化中心將被打造成一個世界頂級的文化、娛樂、體育中心，高質(zhì)量的現(xiàn)場娛樂活動舉辦地，將成為上海娛樂、體育以及其他文化休閑、家庭活動的聚集點。
