KateChanResearch is a small, efficient, and innovative research firm (with a registered capital of 1 million RMB), devoted to creative market research and marketing strategy in China since 2003, with operations in both Beijing and Shanghai with plans to expand to Hong Kong soon. Our business development is based more on word of mouth than on our marketing efforts and we retain our customers by simply complying with a Jewish saying - "growing in slow motion", which aims at continuously ensuring top quality results.
As of September 2013, KateChanResearch has successfully completed 102 projects (involving in-depth investigation of 1,020 = 102*10 companies) for 75 clients from 26 countries. Highly satisfied clients include internationally respected organizations, publicly listed companies, and small and medium sized companies. Since 2011, KateChanResearch has been continuously recognized as an "Certified Expert" (see the logo on the left) by both the Embassy of Switzerland in Beijing and the Swiss Consulate General in Shanghai. Additionally, as of today, we have developed partnerships with diplomatic representatives from 12 countries (with plans to expand to 20 countries in 2014), aiming at co-assisting Chinese companies in their internationalization and investment in foreign countries.
Apart from our research methodologies that use an integrated combination of B2B and B2C/B2E/C2C, our USP is, on one hand, our research expertise, which distinctly specializes on sales and distribution, including supply and value chain, profitable distribution channels (80-20 rules), retailer- and/or direct-managed distributorship, online store types & e-commerce platform models, etc. and on the other hand, turning our marketing intelligence and instinct into clients' profitability and identification of potential opportunities, etc. These are strong tools to create innovative marketing strategies that can be easily understood, adopted, and implemented by clients.
