Our Story
GMS Realty, LLC is a privately-held commercial investment, management and development company. Following a focused strategy of acquiring, developing and operating well-located retail properties in the western United States, GMS has become one of the most successful private real estate companies in the West.

Financial Foundation
GMS is primarily funded by the Washington State Investment Board through an investment with Principal Enterprise Capital ("PEC"), a leading institutional real estate asset manager. PEC is a venture of Principal Global Investors, a division of Principal Financial Group (NYSE-PFG).

Facts & Figures
Since 1996, GMS has completed more than 60 property transactions valued at more than $1 billion-40 properties acquired and 22 properties sold.

The Company has acquired, managed and leased more than 6.5 million square feet of retail shopping center and has entitled more than 1 million square feet of development projects.

The portfolio contains18 properties totaling more than 2.6 million square feet.

GMS properties are 97% leased to over 600 tenants.

GMS China
An affiliate of GMS Realty, GMS China is planning to develop retail shopping centers in the People's Republic of China. These shopping centers are located in strong, infill urban areas and will typically feature a leading hypermarket retailer together with 10,000 to 20,000 square meters of additional retailing and restaurant offerings. Initially, the venture's geographic focus will principally be in the Yangtze River Delta region surrounding Shanghai, but projects in Beijing in the north and on Hainan Island in the south are also under consideration.

GMS China is also evaluating potential investment, development and management opportunities of other retail assets, including specialty retail centers, big box retail sites and mixed-use properties.

GMS China has offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.
