We are looking for a manager to look after the University's subsidiaries in Shenzhen to manage their day-to-day operations and to provide administrative support for the University's developments in Shenzhen. The appointee will also serve as the Chief Representative of HKUST Shenzhen Research Institute. Duties include planning and co-ordination of new projects and construction works; management of human resource and financial matters as well as facilities maintenance; liaison with government officials, institutions and industries in Mainland China; promotion of hi-tech incubation programs; marketing and co-ordination of training programs; preparation of papers and correspondences; and organization of events and publicity efforts. The appointee will normally be stationed in Shenzhen, and frequent travel between Shenzhen, Hong Kong and other parts of Mainland China is required.
