Yantai Andre Pectin Co., Ltd. was established together with overseas strategic partners in 2003, with the business mission to become a world leader in producing pectin. Within just a few years, the company became the leading pectin manufacturer in Asia-Pacific and the only member of the International Pectin Producers’ Association (IPPA) producing in this region. Today Andre Pectin ranks fifth in the world in terms of pectin production volume. Royal DSM, headquartered in the Netherlands, is a global science-based company and listed on NYSE Euronext. In September 2013, Yantai Andre Pectin has officially become a Joint Venture of Royal DSM. In the future, Andre Pectin can leverage DSM’s bio ingredients capabilities and global customer access, together building a broader Hydrocolloids platform. 2013年9月，煙臺(tái)安德利果膠公司正式成為帝斯曼皇家集團(tuán)合資公司。未來(lái)，將充分利用帝斯曼生物配方技術(shù)能力和**客戶資源，共同搭建起更為廣闊的親水膠體平臺(tái)。
Pectin has been for more than 90 years a very well accepted natural food ingredient. It can be used in the production of jams, fruit jellies, acidified milk drinks, yoghurts, fruit juices, beverages, fruit spreads and for both nutraceutical and pharmaceutical applications as a thickening and stabilising agent, and as a soluble fibre. FDA recognises pectin as GRAS (Generally Recognised As Safe)果膠作為純天然食品配料已有90余年歷史。作為增稠劑、穩(wěn)定劑和天然的水溶性膳食纖維，果膠被廣泛應(yīng)用于果醬、果凍、糖果、酸奶、酸乳飲料、果汁、果汁飲料和烘焙制品以及醫(yī)藥健康領(lǐng)域。美國(guó)FDA認(rèn)定果膠為安全食品（GRAS）。
