2006年，桂林理工大學建立了國際教育學院（CollegeofInternationalEducation&ChineseTrainingCentre），同時也負責對外漢語教學工作。國際教育學院現在正在不斷的發展進步當中，并且盡全力提供一個良好的教學環境給所有的國際學生。現在，國際教育學院擁有若干個項目：漢語語言教學、本科生教學、研究生教學。同時，國際教育學院提供了一套完善的服務設施。

現在，有數十個國家的留學生來到了桂林理工大學國際教學學院學習，他們和桂工的中國學生和諧相處，相信桂林理工大學的留學生教育會在新世紀邁向一個更高的臺階。
