國際文化與教育學院組建于2006年4月，秉承“融匯中外，博通古今”的辦學理念，以培養具有深厚漢語文化基礎、國際視野和跨文化交際能力的人才為己任。

FoundedinApril,2006，TheCollegeofInternationalEducation(CIE),upholdingtheeducationalphilosophyof“integratingtheEasternandtheWestern,connectingtheancientandthemodern,”iscommittedtonurturingbilingualandbiculturalstudentswithglobalvisionandcross-culturalcommunicativeability.

學院現有教職工43人(含外教)，基本實現專任教師博士化，大多數的教師具有海外學習和工作經歷。學院主要承擔漢語國際教育專業本科和研究生的培養，外國留學生和港澳臺學生的教學和管理，人力資源培訓和智力援外等任務。

CIEhasanenviousfacultyof43teachersandadministrativestaff,mostofwhomaredoctoratedegreeholders,andmorethanhalfhavearichexperienceofstudyingandworkingabroad.CIEoffersundergraduateandgraduateprogramsinChineseLanguageandLiterature,andTeachingChineseasaForeignLanguage.Inaddition,CIEoffersqualitytrainingcoursesforInternationalHumanResourceDevelopment,ForeignEducationalAidsonbehalfoftheMinistryofEducationandtheMinistryofCommerce.

學院在完成漢語國際教育本科和研究生培養任務的同時，已接納來自109個國家和地區的4000余名留學生，2009年獲“全國留學生管理先進單位”榮譽稱號。“教育部教育援外基地”、“商務部基礎教育援外研修基地”設在本院，已承擔發展中國家高層次援外培訓40余項。依托建立的孔子學院，每年選派幾十名學生赴美國、韓國、烏克蘭、喀麥隆等進行交換學習和漢語推廣志愿服務工作。學院學風優良，近幾年，本科學生考研錄取率在30%左右，英語四級通過率100%，六級通過率在80%以上。本科和研究生就業率接近100%。

CIEhasenrolledmorethan4000studentsfrom109countriesandterritoriestodateandwasrecognized“TheNationalAdvancedOrganizationforInternationalStudentsManagement”in2009.EntrustedbyTheMinistryofEducationandTheMinistryofCommerce,CIEhousesTheEducationalAidCenterforAfricaandAsia,andTheChinaAidTrainingCenterforPrimaryandSecondaryEducation,andoffersover40qualitytrainingcoursesforinternationaleducatorsandadministrators.Moreover,CIEsendsscoresofexchangestudentstostudyintheUnitedStates,Korea,andothercountries,andscoresofvolunteerstudentstoworkintheConfuciusInstitutesinUkraine,CamerounandMozambique.

CIEremainscommittedinexcellentteachingandupholdstheconceptofstudent-centeredmethodology;hencenearly100%passingrateforCET4,and80%,forCET6,andover30%undergraduatespursuingtheirMaster’sdegreeatCIEandelsewhere.
